A circus master is recruiting a new snake charmer and offering Black Country residents the chance to literally run away with the circus.

Duties will include looking after snakes, walking on glass and lying on a bed of nails - but the salary is dependent on experience.

Peter Jolly, of Jolly's Circus, currently in Albrighton, said: "They will have to be able to handle snakes, which a lot of people do have problems with.

"They will be taking part in the Eastern Magic Act at the end of the show, as well as helping with day-to-day duties like setting up the big top.

"This will become a full-time job so it will need to be someone who has left school.

"We can do interviews at Albrighton until Sunday before we move on to Shropshire."

Applicants should telephone Mr Jolly on 07850687503.
