European open event in Aldridge for tooling specialist
Rotometrics International has held its first European open event at its headquarters in Walsall Road, Aldridge.
The precision rotary tooling specialists, together with 20 global suppliers, hosted the event which attracted more than 200 companies from around the world. Those attending were given presentations from the Rotometrics staff and major print suppliers and toured the manufacturing facilities.
Labels and Beyond was the theme of the event as the company moves forward into new markets using the most innovative and technological machines in the label and printing field.
The company is the market leader in the precision label rotary tooling industry and has recently appointed Peter Emerson as its European managing director. Mr Emerson told those attending that he was honoured to be at the helm of such a large West Midlands manufacturing company that is held in high regard.
He said quality and customer service was something that Rotometrics was known for and he would strive to provide a wider range of products in the ever demanding market of precision rotary tooling.
The event ended on Saturday, September 29 when all 200 Rotometrics employees and their families were invited to a family fun day.
Customer service director Neil Lilly thanked all of the staff for their support and congratulated them on making the event such a success.
Following the success of the open event, Rotometrics has decided to make it a biennial gathering at its Aldridge headquarters. Furthermore, the many Rotometrics operational sites throughout the world are considering replicating this business opportunity at their individual locations.
