Included in the Truckman development line up, are a range of hardtops, tonneaus and other accessories for the highly-anticipated new 2017 pick-ups, Renault Alaskan and the Mercedes X-Class, both of which are set for release later this year.

The developments are part of a suite of products set to be unveiled by the Dudley manufacturer in 2017 that will build upon the success it has achieved in the past 12 months.

In the coming months, Truckman will launch new hardtops for the Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux and Mitsubishi L200.

In addition, it will introduce a range of canopies in the spring for the facelifted Isuzu D-Max and Volkswagen Amarok pick-up trucks, which will feature new and improved tailgate and hidden bed seal design.

The introduction of this new range of products has been facilitated by Truckman's continual investment in its premises and operations. The company has further expanded its 120,000 sq ft headquarters in Narrowboat Way with the addition of a new mezzanine floor in its warehousing, which has significantly enhanced its already vast stock-holding capabilities.

Plans are also in place for the creation of further floor space later this year to support the company's commitment to the fast-turnaround of orders from leisure and commercial customers.

Looking back on 2016, Truckman yet again saw year-on-year sales increase by 38 per cent, increase in deliveries by 37 per cent, as well as increasing the efficiency of its fitting service by utilising all four fitting bays Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 4.45pm.

Mike Wheeler, managing dDirector of Truckman, said: "2017 is shaping up to be another exciting year at Truckman with the release of new pick-up trucks into the market by a number of OE manufacturers."

"We have invested heavily in our people, technology and facilities to ensure we can deliver hardtops and accessories that perfectly complement and enhance pick-ups and maintain the reputation and legacy of the Truckman brand."

"All of our products will be developed and badged under the Truckman brand in 2017 to further demonstrate our pride in the name, which is synonymous with the pick-up truck market and has been for more than 30 years."
