Crufts 2026: Best In Show crowned in Birmingham - see the results of the dog show at the NEC here

The winner of Best in Show at Crufts has been announced after four days of competition in Birmingham.

Thousands of dog lovers gathered at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham this week as the world-famous Crufts returned for four days of competition celebrating the very best pedigree dogs.

More than 18,000 dogs competed across seven groups for the chance to reach the prestigious Best in Show final, the most sought-after title in the world of dog showing, which was eventually won.

Judges first selected winners from each of the seven groups, with the champions advancing to Sunday evening’s grand finale at the bp Pulse LIVE arena.

After the finalists returned to the main arena for the final judging, Best in Show at Crufts 2026 was announced.

The Best in Show Crufts 2026 winner is...

Our winner is Vanitonia Soloist, 'Bruin', a Clumber Spaniel whose handler is Lee Cox.

The Reserve Best in Show is 'Megan' Black Majesty Some Way, a Basset Griffon Vendeen owned by Mrs I Raic)

On winning the major trophy Mr Cox said: "Just amazing, I can't believe it. It's just wonderful for this breed. He's a dog of a lifetime...he's just wonderful. He's a bit of a diva, likes his own way, very chilled but never lets me down."

All about Crufts and the best in group 2026 winners

First held in 1891, Crufts remains the largest and most prestigious dog show in the world, attracting thousands of competitors and spectators from across the globe each year.

The Working Group was won by Viking, a Tibetan Mastiff, whose impressive size and calm confidence stood out to judges.

In the Pastoral Group, Hazel, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, claimed the title after demonstrating excellent movement and strong breed characteristics.

The Terrier Group champion was Freddie, a Lakeland Terrier, whose lively personality and sharp presentation impressed the judging panel.

Meanwhile, the Hound Group was won by Megan, a Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen, delighting spectators with her distinctive shaggy coat and energetic performance.

The Toy Group title went to Dublin, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, praised for its elegant movement and classic breed expression.

In the Utility Group, Spencer, a Miniature Schnauzer, secured victory after impressing judges with his confident stance and excellent condition. 

The Gundog Group winner was also won by Bruin, completing the line-up of seven finalists competing for the overall title.
