Major police incident in Walsall town centre - streets cordoned off
Police have cordoned off Walsall town centre streets including the bus station this morning
The Express & Star is at the scene, where a large number of police cars are in the area.
Police tape blocked off town centre roads including Bridge Street and the bus station earlier this morning.
A suitcase could be seen at the centre of one of the cordoned off roads, shown in the photo above, but it is unclear if this was linked to the incident.
West Midlands Police said they will be issuing an update this morning.
The cordons had been removed as of 8:30am.
Commuters faced delays around Walsall town centre. The incident took place right outside HSBC and the Leather Skills Centre.
