Two injured in car crash on major Staffordshire A-road that resulted in fuel spill
Two men have been treated for injuries after a two-vehicle crash on a major Staffordshire road.
The incident took place on the A5 between the M6 at junction 12 and the A4601 at Cannock, and the crash resulted in a large fuel spill across the carriageway.
The drivers of both cars have been treated for injuries, with one having to be cut out of his vehicle by firefighters.

A spokeswoman from Staffordshire Police said: "We were called at 7.40am today (Friday 27 February) to the A5, near the junction for Poplar Lane, following reports of a collision involving a Renault and a Ford.
"Officers attended the scene alongside colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service.
"The road was temporarily closed whilst recovery was arranged for the cars.
"The driver of the Ford, a man, was removed from the car by firefighters and treated by paramedics at the scene. The driver of the Renault, a man, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
"The road reopened at around 9.20am."
