Crazed woman jailed after ransacked West Bromwich bungalow as two women barricaded themselves in the living room fearing for their lives
A woman attacked a dog-walker and then barged into the West Bromwich bungalow where she fled for sanctuary has been jailed.
Aliyyah Chandi, 30, saw a female dog walker in Oakwood Park on August 15 and asked her for a cigarette then demanded money before putting her in a headlock and pushing her to the floor.
After freeing herself the lady ran to nearby bungalow on Bilhay Street for sanctuary. However, Chandi followed her and barged through the front door hurting the homeowner's leg as she tried stop her entry.
The two women barricaded themselves in the living room as Chandi ransacked the house looking for something to steal. She was also threatening to kill them as she tried to push through their barricaded room.

The police arrived in time to save the cowering women from attack. When Chandi was arrested she continued her frenzied behaviour spitting at officers and racially abusing a black officer. She also refused to give a sample for class A drugs.
