Man found dead in wooded area of Smethwick
A man has been found dead in a wooded area in Sandwell.
Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious, and are preparing a file for the coroner.
It comes after a member of the public found a man unresponsive in Warley Woods, Smethwick around 12.30pm on Sunday, October 19.
A statement from West Midlands Police said: "A man was found unresponsive in Warley Woods at around 12.30pm today by a member of the public.
"Sadly, he was confirmed dead at the scene.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner in due course."
