The striker moved to Bournemouth for £10million last weekend, but Wolves certainly didn't miss him on Tuesday night.

They scored three goals for the first time in three months in their victory over Fulham. The 3-2 win has given renewed hope of an unlikely tilt at the Championship play-offs.

Wolves are seven points off sixth spot, and while any promotion prospects may still seem fanciful, they have at least allayed fears of a relegation battle for now.

Jackett said: "We appreciate what Benik's done for us but he'd expressed repeatedly his desire to move on.

"It's a new era now. Every club moves past any player, coach, and a new side has to come up and new players have to go forward and take the responsibility to take the club on.

"We know where we need to strengthen and we are working hard to do that. Zyro was part of the plan but we do want to add.

"We are looking to move positively in the area for strikers but we also do want good value.

"It is not easy and there is an overall situation with the club up for sale which will dictate everything."

Meanwhile, Zyro feele he has settled well into life at Wolves, adding: "The team spirit is very good and our team played very well.

"Two goals is good and it was important the team win, we move forward and prepare for Saturday.

"It's gone well (moving here), the team, all the people want to help me. It's very friendly.

"The last few years I've played for Legia as a winger, or midfield player, it (playing as a striker) was something new for me but I prefer it and was lucky to score.

"I have to say thank you (to the fans)."
