Wolves will travel to France in pre-season

Wolves today confirmed they will head out to France as part of their pre-season training from July 5-11.

moreThe squad are to be based at the French National Football Centre in Clairefontaine, located just over 30 miles South West of Paris and regarded as one of the best footballing academies in Europe.

The team are set to play two friendly games, provisionally set for July 8th and July 10th, but the opponents will not be officially confirmed until those fixtures and venues are finalised.

It is likely that one game will be at the Clairefontaine complex itself and one at a stadium in the greater Paris area.

Wolves officials are currently working with their French counterparts in the aim of organising supporter access for the games.

And there are also plans for an official club trip during the week. However, fans are advised not to make any travel arrangements until all the plans are confirmed.

Wolves are also finalising details of the domestic friendly schedule - in addition to the game at Burton on July 18th already announced - which will include a home fixture at Molineux.
