Now it's japes on a plane! Saido Berahino's Albion team-mates poke fun at jet snap

Saido Berahino's Albion team-mates have injected a touch of humour into the controversy engulfing the striker by posting their own jet plane selfie.

Defender Gareth McAuley posted the image, which included Baggies team-mate and Northern Ireland team-mate Chris Brunt, on his Twitter account.

Snapped on the plane taking the Northern Ireland team to tomorrow's Euro 2016 qualifier in the Faroe Islands, their thumbs-up pose bore a striking resemblance to the one used by Berahino this morning.

The striker, who has granted extra time away from the club following his deadline day outburst, posted a picture on Twitter which appeared to show him on a private jet.

It was the first post made on the striker's account since his now infamous tweet threatening to never play for the club again under Jeremy Peace, after the Baggies chairman rejected two further bids from Tottenham.
