Tim Sherwood linked with West Brom hot-seat

Tim Sherwood was today linked to Albion’s hot-seat – if the Baggies let Pepe Mel go in the summer.

Tim Sherwood is mindful of Liverpool's attacking prowess but wants his side to cause problems of their own
Tim Sherwood is reportedly linked with the Albion job

Reports in London this afternoon claimed that the interim Spurs boss would be in the frame for The Hawthorns should Albion decide to change their head coach in the summer.

Mel cast doubt over his long-term Baggies future this week while Sherwood looks increasingly likely to leave White Hart Lane at the end of the season.

He has, however, reportedly impressed figures at The Hawthorns in his short time as Tottenham boss.

Why not just go the whole hog and get Dean Saunders in?

Walthamstow Albion

...reports just coming in hot off the newswire...a source in Wednesfield suggest a highly regarded Clipboard is in need of recruitment as there are more than a few secretarial notes and minutes to be taken at Boardroom level as Moxey maps out his all-conquering and ingenious world-dominating footballing master plan, while in Tettenhall, a more than highly venerated Bullay is in desperate need for the centre of the gamesroom's dartboard and there's a town-wide search currently taking place in Ipswich and surrounding Suffolk environs including farmlands and tractor sheds to track down the esteemed but previously highly underestimated Mad Mick who was last seen munching his way through the last of 2007's FA Cup Demolitions' pies-n-pints - which were sadly going cold and said cold pies that were once bought by the hand that donated the last tenner kicking around the petty cash box - hmm...that hand on that last tenner...what should it have done with that tenner...hmm...a tenner....a whole British Ten Pound Note...that hand could do a lot with that tenner....skulduggery you say...WHAT...Boardroom machinations you cry...AY?...Ya WHA?... Jackett the obsessed-

I always wondered why Dean Saunders only spent a short time at Wolves-

turned out that after discovering he'd previously managed at Wrexham and Doncaster, he was judged to be well over-qualified for the Molineux job......

(p.s. - remember when you called yerself 'Solbakken the club' and 'Saunders Foot' after your two heroes....? Lololol.......:-)

Jackett the Hat

A once monthly visit to the dark side Mr Rocket...ha,ha yeah right, I believe you, honest I do.....once monthly, like you even have to explain in case you might come under my very own 'obsessed' banner... Lol you joker.

BTW, I used to change my moniker to get past the mods, but better that than name myself after a player who admitted disliking Albion fans , he must've been an old time Odemwingie , suits you though sir, suits you.

CantelloRocket 78

Jackett-

LOL....how deep do you want to dig that hole you're in?

I can tell between yer lines how rattled you are, hot under the collar, are we Sir?

Before, you only tried what you considered 'clever', sarcastic jokes, now it's rants and insults - deflated ego, is it, Sir??

As for obsession, do me a favour-

try to find ONE post of mine on the Wolves site over the last couple of years-

I bet I could find hundreds of yours over here, eh??

Deluded, deflated, and a Dud......lol.......

The Real Bully Hoo.

Rocket.

I agree on one and disagree on the other.

Like you I rarely go on the dark side these days, just a quick look to see what's going on. It's not much fun when things are going well,

Kenny the best thing since sliced bread instead of the numpty he was a couple of months back,

Barely a mention of Jez and Steve, formerly known as dumb and dumber,

Even our friend Jackett saying Stearman and Bath are like a couple of Brazilians the other day (in the female hygiene sense I presume) instead of the donkeys he normally calls them.

But when you say you could find hundreds of his posts over here in the last couple of years, surely you mean hundreds in the last couple of days.

PS.

Where did that bit about Lenny Cantello hating Albion fans come from, although I can have a good guess.

We Only Need One Half!

I just had me once-monthly glance at the Wolves site, and fell off me seat loffin'-

'JACKETT THE HAT'-

I quote-

'don't worry lads - after 'class' wins at Brentford and Sheff. Utd., Brazil has come early - with McDonaldio, Stearmanio.....'

Whaaaaaa!!!!!!

How cringingly embarrassing is that???

Oh dear, oh dear.....this is the Wolves 'rep' on the Baggies site, now known as 'Laughingstockio'....

Come back Lone Wolf, all is forgiven, they've replaced you with a complete 'dud'.......lol....

I have noticed the further we pull away from danger the more desperate his posts become, he got his Vickys and his Lizzys mixed up earlier lol.

Another sign of desperation from the dark side below.

We're back to 'we've got a bigger ground than you.' 'You're in Sandwell not West Brom.' 'You're not in the Black Country.' A futile and spurious argument at best because it has never had an official boundary.

We'll be back to the, 'We've got a better history,' one next.

In fact anything to avoid talking about the present or the recent past.

The Real Bully Hoo.

Hiya Walt.

I'm not normally a big fan of these modern day acronyms but there's on'y one thing to say about that.

LMAO.

Brilliant.

ELDERVO

Nothing like a good old Black Cockney rant is there !

And just in case you didn't catch my reply last time to one of your previous posts Walt, FYI neither Walthamstow or Smerrik (where the poorthorns is located by the way) is in the Black Country ! lol.

Always willing to help in the interests of accuracy, please don't hesitate to ask next time if you're unsure.

Looks like good ol' Walt's ruffled up some fur in the backwoods, plenty of howlin' goin' on over there....lol.

So you've decided to give us a geography lesson, eh?

Would that be from your 'proud black country home' in Marbella, that place once dubbed the 'costa del crime'?

And I guess you sometimes wing your way to W'ton, that English hamlet located in the shire of Stafford??

It used to amaze me how anyone could switch colours, from supporting the Baggies to becoming a wolf, but I realise now you were naturally born to be there........

ELDERVO

Don't take my word for it, look it up on the BBC site. I was born Black country (lost City) but proudest day of my life was when I got out mate. I know where I'd rather live.

Hmmmm Marbella/Tettehall or Tipton, hard one that.

UTW

CantelloRocket 78

El Dervo-

Goin' back to old literature in the 19th Century, The Black Country was stated as included West Bromwich, but not Wolverhampton-

even on internet reference sites, it claims W'ton is outside the BC - although there's been attempts in recent years to 'drag' it into the area.

As for the Baggies ground - I grew up around the Albion estate - and our current family home is still near the entrance of the East Stand Car Park-

it's clearly a part of West Bromwich, as far back as I can remember as a child it always was, not even a doubt.

As for your 'accuracy', it seems you couldn't decide which local club to aim at when you were younger - looks like you make a habit of being way off mark.........

ELDERVO

CR

As for Wolvo, I've never said or inferred that it is Black Country.

The baggies ground has always been in Smethwick (rather than what is now generally all called west bromwich) and long before Sandwell or the albion estate ever existed, Smethwick is deemed by 'traditionalists' not to be part of the BC.

19th century ? well, references to the BC go as far back as the Doomsdaybook again long before the Industrial Revolution and were said to include the 4 boroughs, wolverhampton included. For every 'expert' that says one thing there's another who says different. Personally I think the BBC's archive on it is probably as close to the 'modern' truth as any. ie neither wolvo or smerrik is true BC.

I was born in tipton on the lost city the only bigger s..t h...e (ref Cape) I know than smerrik and that most definitely is BC by any ones version.

As I.ve said before many of my family still live in the area and as a kid I went to the baggies with my uncle, my cousin Karen and her hubby 'scotty' a massive baggy fan actually ran the Vine for a while before being moved by the Brewery to a pub on Sedgley bonk many years ago.

When it comes to switching colours as you say the reality is that at age 11 I moved to wolvo, got educated and 'out of the darkness came the light'. before then I was just a kid who didn't know any better. Sad but true I'm afraid.

Good debate and I think we'll have to agree to disagree, but Walthamstow ? plleeeease.

UTW

We Only Need One Half!

Elderado, whats with this constant slagging of Tipton? quite a few of us could move out if we so wished, but choose not to, in fact, having lived in most of Western Europe at some time, and Wolverhampton, I moved back here, so do you honestly believe that makes you superior in some way? sounds like it, very snobby, so in a way its good for you you got out when you did, because you would never have fitted in with that attitude (see my other post on Darwen's Theory!)

If the biggest achievement in your life was moving out of Tipton, I feel for you, I really do.

Jack the Hat

ELDERVO,

Coventry play in Northampton but they are still Coventry City, so what is your point. Obviously you know nothing about Black Country history and what areas were in the aforesaid and W-ton wasn't one of them. Now you can go and clean the fibbing Black Country signs around your City boundaries and when you get to Bilston you will be able to say " I am now in the Black Country " because that is the only area in your City where you can claim that.

BOING~~~~BOING~~~~J♣H.

We Only Need One Half!

p.s. Hyacinth, I mean Elderado, just read your follow up post, are you saying you still have family in Tipton? blimey, I bet your popular at family do's with that air of superiority you try to portray, still every families got them, what they dont realise is the rest of the family tends to take the p*** when they are not around.

Now tell me, is your name pronounced Bucket or Bouquet?

CantelloRocket 78

EL-

if I remember correctly, West Bromwich was mentioned in the Doomsday Book, and a bunch of lads in West Brom started the Baggies as a club-

from before I was born, me Grandparents lived on the Albion Estate, and always had a West Bromwich postal address, so I've never previously been bothered or interested in 'who was where' - just accepted how things were - until some of your lot kept comin' over here kickin' up a fuss about 'location'.

It's right that the roots of the BC are up for debate, but it's not usually of the greatest importance in me in general daily life.

As for the football-

when I started watching Albion 50 years ago, us and the Villa were the top local clubs, and looking at the situation at the present time, it seems to be the same picture-

all I can say is - bad luck on your choice of clubs, some decisions just seem to backfire........

Jack the Hat

ELDERVO,

The Mining of coal and Iron making industries created the Black Country. There was no Black Country before those industries. You must have been reading wolves Double-Drop Doomsday Book.

Gorra loff ay ya.

BOING~~~~BOING~~~~J♣H.

Jack the Hat

ELDERVO,

Most of Sherwood Forest oak trees in Nottinghamshire were bought for a " Tanner " each to smelt iron ore in small blast furnaces, that was long before the Black Country or proper steel making format was established, you see there was no coal mining in those days which is the very essence of the Black Country. So stick your comic Doomsday book with the rest of your comics. You are about as accurate as an arrow made from a Corkscrew Hazel. Now leave history to those who are in the know.

BOING~~~~BOING~~~~J♣H.

P.S. You even agree with me, look at this extract from your post:

Oh dear, you have now changed your mind after you have been proven wrong yet again. Weren't you just bragging wrongly of course that W-ton WAS in the Black Country long before it had materialized, in fact you said it was in the Doomsday book and there were only four areas named. There were men who worked damned hard and died earlier than they should have done, they were known as puddlers.

" Puddled " through their work is now known as mixed-up, just like you in fact, you can't tell your back-side from your elbow and now we all know.

BOING~~~~BOING~~~~J♣H.

Idle goss?,god i hope so. We need to give Pepe Mel a chance to do his job with his own people in, plus any players he might want to bring into the club.Regardless of what division we are in next season.

Shropshirebaggy

Ridiculous article, Pepe Mel is in charge and there is no evidence that he will be leaving at the end of the season, this kind of article is completely unhelpful to Albion, E&S just can't help themselves can they!

We Only Need One Half!

Look on the bright side Shroppy, this smacks of desperation on their part! probably annoyed that it now looks likely they are going to have to rewrite most of their preordained Summer copy.

By the way, wheres the poll today????

So a manager who hasn't been sacked might replace a manager who hasn't been sacked...... sounds like and E&S story !!!!

Baggiescomeon

The old comment of stirring it with a spoon !!

more like a whisk with you lot, we have had an unsettled season, we would be foolish to chance another.

Keep Mel, Kieth and Dean, seek a good scout to source a few changes and lets see how it works out.

P.s - I don't think Spurs will replace Tim anyway, unless they lose their next game to that team with the reputation of manager slaying.

Santas a baggie

The last time we were informed of such 'reports' was the claim that Saido Berahino had contacted Rumpole of the Bailey, in an effort to send Jimmy Morrison to the Tower of London-

Perfectly possible for what Jeremy wants is someone who will tug a forelock at Garlick. Who it is doesn't matter but increasingly it looks as if it won't be Pepe.

We Only Need One Half!

Are you for real? what started these rumours of Sherwood's demise, if Talksport are to be believed, is apparently he has been busting Levy's balls by demanding to know what his budget in the Summer will be for domestic and Champions League from more or less Day 1. Does that sound like a yes man?

ELDERVO

Perhaps he'll learn yes in tomorrows lesson.

UTW

We Only Need One Half!

When it comes to managers Hyacinth I will take it under advisement when its coming from a wulfie, fact is we have sacked and let go better managers than youve ever had, or are ever likely too.

Jack the Hat

ELDERVO,

We know what you are and we are all laughing at you.

BOING~~~~BOING~~~~J♣H.

We Only Need One Half!

Well, we have sacked one who went on to win The Champions League, another left to take the England Job, another Man Utd, another to Celtic, another who has just won The Championship, another who went to Spurs, as well as others who went on immediately to Olympiacos, Benfica, Galatasaray, Panathinaikos etc

Now, tell me one Wolves manager who left Wolves for bigger and better things lolol?

ELDERVO

There was nothing bigger or better during the great Stan Cullis era.

No one from WBA has ever come close.

Hodgson? judge him after the world cup. Not impressed so far but hey ho.

England Managers we've had 'em, big deal.

What is interesting is your point about managers leaving you for somewhere better. Can't say that's happened to us. We bin them when the don't come upto scratch.

UTW

We Only Need One Half!

Hyacinth, now you know thats not what was said, yes you've had England managers after the fact, in other words when they have been sacked, how many you had leave Wolves to go on to it, in other words before they were in decline.

Still waiting for you to tell me ONE manager who has left

We Only Need One Half!

contd.. has left Wolves for better things? rather than just slipping into obscurity, the Dole, or the Lower Leagues?

We Only Need One Half!

Hyacinth, you bin them when there no good! lol, you only get them when no one else wants them, thats why there no good. Lets have a look see.

Saunders- Dole still

Solbakken- had to leave Country, couldn't compete in Championship

T.C. - promotion of sorts, went to Ipswich

M.M. - same

Hoodle - even now footballing dole

Jones - promoted again sort of, went to Cardiff

Lee - Torquay

McGhee- Millwall

Taylor - footballing Dole

Turner- Hereford

Chapman ????

Mc Garry - Saudi Arabia

Docherty - Altrincham

Hawkins ????

Greaves - Mansfield

and thats just going back to the start of the 80's, but trust me, I could go all the way back, and you will still not find a Wolves manager who has left you to go on to the likes of Man U, Chelsea or England.

Now thats a fact, Jack!

The Real Bully Hoo.

A very loud silence coming from Hyacinth.

I wonder why that is?

El Dervo-

oh dear - another one resorting to the desperation of using that old chesnut....??

as you claim to be an expert on Geographical facts, I'm sure you can confirm that Wolverhampton's population is almost TWICE that of West Bromwich?-

and yet when we were both in the top flight, there was barely 2,000 difference in our average gates-

meaning a much higher percentage of local people around West Brom watch the Baggies than those around Wolves-

the fact that you're now getting a few bigger crowds obviously means you've suddenly attracted all those 'fairweather' fans-

who now feel very much at home watching third division footie.........

ELDERVO

Dress it up however you like Rocket but how many do you think you'd get now if you were 3rd div?

Just sums up what we both know really, we have bigger gates, like for like, we are a bigger town (or City if you prefer)we have a bigger ground, infact in simple terms as you pointed out so well....

WE ARE A BIGGER CLUB, it's taken a while but glad we finally agree on something for once.

UTW

CantelloRocket 78

El-

I said Wolvo has a bigger population, but that's purely geographical location of people-

surely you don't believe BIG is always the most important thing in life??

Many of the most precious and desirable commodities in life are 'smaller' in size-

I could have a big mac meal inside a supersize McDonalds, or a superb dining experience in a smaller, 5 star establishment-

it's all about quality, and what you do with what you have-

and whilst the Baggies are currently part of the Football Elite, 'big', lumbering wolves are somewhere below, eating in a McDonalds.........

We Only Need One Half!

Hyacinth, its not hard to get people in if you are subsidising the tickets, and making a loss on everyone sold is it? dont forget, we actually make money on every ticket we sell, one of only 5 clubs to do so in the Prem, and of those 5 we make the third highest profit, you know like a clubs supposed to if it doesn't want to find it self going bust and having to rely on the Council or a Sugar Daddy to bail them out.

Fact is, with you averaging 6-7000 more empty seats than us each game, we have still sold well over 100,000 more tickets than you this season alone.

As for how many would we get in the 3rd Division? we dont need to concern our selves with such trivial matters, do we?

Warren

Eldervo

It's nice to know you care.

However - and I'm sorry to tread on your superiority complex - last time Albion were down in the slumbers of the third tier (it was quite a while ago, so your memory may be understandably hazy) we got 29,341 for a league game, which is slightly more than you've managed; we didn't get anywhere near 4,226 for any league games that season either. This despite having around half of the population and a vastly smaller catchment area. Just saying.

If you were that much bigger and better, you wouldn't even be on these pages.......

CantelloRocket 78

Warren,

I'm afraid 'El Dervo' marks the return of our old character 'weemabigclubweam'-

This whole issue of 'size' is pretty laughable-

the legendary Bruce Lee was quite a small guy in physical build, yet time and again he dumped 'bigger' guys on their backside-

Likewise, wolves boast they'm 'bigger than us', but how many times have we given 'em a merciless beating over the years......?

Basically, if yo'm big, yo can end up as a massive flop........lol.

ELDERVO

Warren, no idea who you are buddy but always ready to hear others views.

So basically what your post says is that you got more years ago when you were 3rd tier than you do now at top level and we're getting upto 6 times more now than we did then. Am I correct ??

Seems It's taken a while then but you're fans are learning slowly .

Begs the thought, that I wonder where our extra fans are coming from doesn't it !

Always room for one more Warren, we got a big ground.

considering you believe we're in some way inferior, you spend a lot of time trying to convince us of this, which really says it all-

don't worry, you might see better times, for now, you can watch the Baggies and other prem. clubs on TV in Spain - and maybe explain to the locals who 'wolves' are........;-)

Jack the Hat

ELDERVO,

Tell me about your gates when you start playing bigger clubs, say at Championship level after the F.F.P.I. have finished with you.

Gorra loff ay ya.

BOING~~~~BOING~~~~J♣H.

Jack the Hat

ELDERVO,

How much money do you want off us " Through Premiership hand outs " to tide you over for the next month?. But don't ask when the F.F.P.I. have finished with you, we can't afford that much.

Gorra loff ay ya.

Good point about the locals over here and one I've posted about before.

You are quite right in that a good measure of a club is how well they're known outside of the UK. Unfortunately you have it wrong though I'm afraid. Granted, WBA are a legend in Smerrik but despite the prem coverage on sky the locals here don't tend to watch, only the expats. I have many spanish friends, and in all honesty, few have even heard of the Baggies. Mention Wolves and everyone knows who you're talking about.

Try asking your mate Kev, he's in Majorca, if he is honest he'll tell you the same.

I don't know where you get your info from generally but I'm guessing it's not from talking to people who actually know what they're talking about.

Pep Mel point in case. Over here he's generally regarded as a bit of a duffer. I'm sure that Betis sources you can 'read' about online will say different but ask a few Malaga, Seville or Real fans and you'll get a truer picture of how he's rated in Spain.

I go to a lot of Malaga games and the odd Seville game with fellow expats including a couple of baggies and villians. Seen Betis under Mel several times and trust me his gung ho style and forget defending will not work in the prem. Just my opinion of course but one from a bit of first hand knowledge and not something I've just read about.

No other club here looked at him when he was sacked by Betis, why do you think he ended up at the Poorthorns???

Hope you survive now I really do, even if you don't believe me, but if you do I think you'll struggle under Mel next season and I'll be very surprised if he lasts the season.

Time will tell.

Hyacinth-

"No other club here looked at him when he was sacked by Betis, why do you think he ended up at the Poorthorns???"

Have you had a lobotomy recently? seriously? have you forgotten the Laughing stock Wolves became when trying to replace Mick? with managers turning you down left right and centre? some two or three times? your must be tripping bud.

And if he did such a crap job at Betis, how did he get them promoted, how did he get them a 7th place finish in La Liga, and why were they playing in The Europa League this season?

Now, how does Jacketts recent record stack up against that?

CantelloRocket 78

EL Derv-

Well we had plenty of yer bumph yesterday when you were stung into action after Walt's post triggered a charge over here from the dark side, but it's now getting very tiresome.

Not sure if you're some kind of Salesman by profession, but this 'technique' of engaging Baggies fans in conversation, whilst ignoring issues you'd rather not answer, then attempting to twist around other points, is a bit lame, reminds me very much of methods used by a door-to-door Salesman trying to convince you it's vital to have his latest bog brush and multi-coloured feather duster.

As with such situations, it's really time to slam the door shut-

unfortunately, the amount of time you're spending here very clearly betrays your motive - either a secret love of the Baggies, or a deep resentment.......

Bye, bye.

Jack the Hat

EL-DER-DER-VO,

Bet you watch lots of wolves matches over there, sorry you are an ex-pat and you said yourself only ex-pats watch ALBION matches. Now I know where you get your jibe information from. Will you be huddled around T.V. on Saturday shouting " Come on you BAGGIES "?, just asking. I bet you really enjoy your little self?.

BOING~~~~BOING~~~~J♣H.

ELDERVO

Now you're making some degree of sense I'll let you into a little secret....

It's true Jack I do watch a lot of footy when I'm over here. Virtually all games prem, chump and div1 are available over here if you have the right setup. It's only the UK they restrict what can be watched. Every baggie and wolves games are shown live, although I see most wolves games at the mol and as many away as I can.

I also go watch Malaga.

Have been known to shout c'mon you Baggies when watching with Baggie fans over here if theyre playing london clubs. Despite what you may think I don't 'hate' your lot at all and would cheer them on against any london, manchester or scouse club anyday.

I'm WOLVES first, Midlands second and then English when it comes to the beautiful game.

I'm sure come the summer I'll be sitting with Baggies, Villains, Potters et al cheering our lads on in Brazil. Love the banter and rivalry between our two great clubs but 'hate' ? Never.

And Mel's still a duffer ! lol

UTW

Jack the Hat

El-DER-DER-Vo,

Mention Wolves and everyone knows who you're talking about.

I bet they do, they are full of rabies over in Spain.

BOING~~~~BOING~~~~J♣H.

The Real Bully Hoo.

Jack.

Are you forgetting they're famed throughout the World because of their double-double-dip-dip record.

Still the only club to manage it.

EL-DER-DER-VO,

No, nobody can as you have already taken it.

Gorra loff ay ya.

BOING~~~~BOING~~~~J♣H.

EL-DER-DER-VO,

Are you trying to tell me the locals would rather watch Divi 3 matches than Premiership Football, how insulting for them?. Now you run along and tell them just that, oh! and take your tin helmet with you.

Gorra loff ay ya.

BOING~~~~BOING~~~~J♣H.

Makes me smile. Tottenham are 6th in the PL and they are talking about getting rid of him.

We Only Need One Half!

Yeah its funny till you consider Man City sacked Mancini a year after winning the title and finishing 2nd!

Didn't Barca or Real sack a manger a few years back after winning La Liga and the Champions League. Now thats what you call tough bosses.

BeeCee

WONHO. (WON 0) That is zero!!!!!!!

Didn't you sack De Matteo after he had won the European Cup????

We Only Need One Half!

B.C. (before crashed)

No, you doughnut, before lol.

Baggie in Jersey

This must be absolute tosh. Pepe Mel IS the man for Albion. He should be given time to build his team where ever we are next season.

JA

This is NOT the time to speculate about Pepe Mel leaving us at the end of the season. We have hopefully started to turn our season round and another couple of wins should make our Premiership place safe for next season.

Why oh why can't people just leave us alone to get on with the job in hand?

Perhaps it may be a little bit more prudent to start looking at Paul Lambert's position at Aston Villa?

After all they are only two points better off than us and have big problems up front now!

COYB Keep it going because we CAN and WILL stay up!

Boing! Boing!!

Cyril

JA, if Pepe said he couldn't stand our weather and needed to get back to the sunshine, all of us would understand. But if he keeps us up, what a feather in his cap as this must surely have been the most difficult season we have spent in this woebegotten League.

It's been a torment from day 1. Someone needs to assure him it isn't always like this.

baggiebornandbred

he has impressed figures at the hawthorns?? who are these figures, he will impreas the figures really well when we take three points the weekend

it was enevitable im certain that chris houghtons name was in the title until this tim sherwood story came out, the bloke hasnt been sacked yet and we have a good manager in pepe mel who is trying to implement his philosphies on the baggies

sherwood also impressed figurea at sky sports when he won his first few games in charge and now hes lost two hes in dire staits exactly the same thing the press are doing to pepe mel! british journalism ay!!

simmo54

Pepe Mel is the manager of WBA and we aint looking for anybody else so E & S think of something else to be negative about.

I think Pepe's translation may have been misinterpreted and so everybody jumps on the bandwagon to try and rock the boat.

We Only Need One Half!

You might be on to something there with translations, because now rumours have started Pochettino is to replace Sherwood.

Although it is a fact Pochettino said weeks ago he would not sign a new contract at Southampton before the Summer. Come and get me, perhaps?

Captain Mardon International

I'd like to know who has said that.? I'd like to see him here, the man has passion that's for sure.

Mboy

I would like to think that there won't be a vacancy at the Albion, unless we go down. Even if we did get relegated, I would like to see Pepe given a chance, but I don't think that Jeremy would agree.

We Only Need One Half!

Oh I dont know, he battled hard enough to get him in the first place?

capehill

anybody know what James Hunt is in Spanish

ELDERVO

here we go ..... what were you saying Haf Pint about never having seen his personal insults ? you really should keep your band of little helpers on a tighter leish you know.

Does you're mom know you're still up ?

An i dow care if yow got a bigger bruther eitha Kerp.

Beggers belief.....

UTW

The Real Bully Hoo.

Are you really trying to take the moral high ground after some of your recent posts? Trying to make out others are childish and pathetic? And finishing with a veiled threat of your undoubted keyboard warrior prowess?

Now that really does beggar belief.

Give up now pal before you lose any shreds of dignity you have left.

We Only Need One Half!

When did I say that Hyacinth? show me?

CantelloRocket 78

As they say, two wrongs don't make a right-

Nice to see you've finally shown your true colours.

Run along now, we've had our fun.........

Jack the Hat

Cantello,

I think ELDERVO has been punched drunk and gone all awry, bushuk, splat, Kaput.

Time for him to have a break, then change his nom de Guerre before he returns. Laughingwolf had nothing on him mate.

1:19am .......yes it's true, he don't need to sit up, not 'obsessed' , got a life better than James Bond and a fantastic motto to back it all up... "Do as I say, not as I do". I'm just relieved for all the innocent people out there that you couldn't pass for a police officer. You wouldn't believe anyone's alibi, you even lie to yourself !

And you ask why I come on here........priceless .

P.S nice to see Proffessor 'Q' backing you up with ammo at 2:07.

CantelloRocket 78

Jackettinio (lol....)-

still sulkin', and nursing that badly bruised ego, then.....??

I know you spend half yer life on the Baggies site ( not obsessed with us of course ), but somethings seem to escaped your notice-

like the fact that I was posting on my OWN club's site - unlike you, who posts on rival's sites at 3.30 a.m. in the morning, when everyone else is fast asleep?-

and the fact I was having an 'exchange of views' with your mate, EL's Bells, another wolves fan who can't stay away from here in the early hours?-

Now I know I hurt your feelings, finally making you realise you're nowhere near as funny or clever as you think you are, but stop sulking and sobbing-

man up, and do something useful for a change, stop comin' over here staring at the things you can't have.........

Jackett the Hat

I can't take much more of this.....I feel like I should stop posting

Is there anyone out there who can talk me round !

Although i live over here in stafordshire, it always fills me with a massive sense of pride that West Bromwich ( population 75,405 town , 136,940 wider urban sub area , 2001 census) has a football club which stands alone in the premier league the only club which is based in a town not a city , BOING BOING

Cyril

Mr Diesel Man, (El Dervo). A snob, (you), is usually a man of no substance, as shown by his lack of loyalty to his roots AND family ! I also suspect you wish you hadn't changed sides as proven by the hours you spend on OUR site. But it's too late now.

We don't want you.

Now, regarding The Hawthorns. When I was a kid, around the time of the Domesday Book, it was always understood that the (now) East Stand was in Handsworth, the whole of the playing area, Brummie Rd. and Halfords were in West Bromwich and the Smethwick was actually in Smethwick. How true or exact I'm not sure, but no doubt the old boundary lines would show.

Also, when we rode a No. 74 or 75 bus from West Bromwich, we paid a fare 'To The Boundary', a stop just past The Hawthorns. The conductor would then change the tickets to Birmingham ones and you paid again from The Boundary to Birmingham.

PS: There was another clown used to refer to The Hawthorns as 'the poorthorns'

Thinking that one up must have had him roaring at his own brilliance.

Jack the Hat

EL(DER-DER)VO,

Max,

problem is mate, if TS took the job and failed, JP would get a load of stick for choosing somebody with limited experience - also Timmy tends to go in the Chairman's office, and aggressively make demands - might not goo down too well in this neck of the woods.

Anyway, talkin' of woods, I think it more likely Sherwood will be linked to Forest.......;-)

WALL HEATH BAGGIE

Good points well made Marmate , i cannot see him managing anyone North of Watford either .

See ya 12pm Saturday i have been summoned by the ' Spanish Priest ' .

ariesbaggie

I think its more likely that Robinov Sherwood will be our next manager. Or little john...

Back on XP now. My main posts vanished once more. Either that or the naughty Mod is on again.

BeeCee

ELDERVO. I see the inveterate postman Jack has been playing with his thing under the bedclothes again

Not only has it sent him stupid it is making him stutter now.

I also see the MOD with nepotism has appeared again. That's more than can be said for our

posts eh! ELDERVO.
