Some 32 spots have been available through wildcards for the 128-player event to be held at Butlins in Minehead, Dorset, with the ITV4 cameras on hand.

They have been played out at 30 Rileys Sports Bars across the country, but the Black Country have got a second bite at the cherry through the venue on Broad Street.

They are only one of two hosts to be granted multiple qualifiers, the other being the company's flagship arena at London Victoria, writes Craig Birch.

Those who went to Qualifying School to try and earn a Pro Tour card this year cannot compete. However, PDPA members with Challenge Tour only status are eligible.

All tournament matches will operate from a first-to-four format with the exception of the final, which will be the best of nine legs.

Entry is just £5 per event and is open to anyone aged 16 and above.

Applications must be made 48 hours in advance at the venue or the day before online at www.rileys.co.uk/tournaments. The price includes a free drink.
