Ollie Watkins nabbed the only goal of the game in the first half, as Albion struggled to break down Brentford's tight press.
Despite improvement in the second half, with Kenneth Zohore striking the bar with a brilliant effort - Albion couldn't find an equaliser, going goalless once again having drawn 0-0 in their previous game.
