The HGV vehicle crashed on Neachells Lane, in Wednesfield, Wolverhampton, on Friday afternoon.

Burke Brothers Recovery Limited, based in Wolverhampton, took part in the recovery operation of the vehicle.

The firm sent two heavy recovery units, a lorry loader crane, two incident response vehicles, and a grab lorry to the scene.

A spokesman for the firm said: "Upon the arrival of our incident support team, who have carried out traffic management training, they put in lane closures so the police could discharge from the scene to save wasting precious police resources.

"Our heavy recovery team took charge with lifting the vehicle back onto its wheels, this took some time as the scrap had to be pulled out the way to ensure our strop straps could get under without been damaged catching on any sharps.

"Once the vehicle was up right, our grab and clean team took care in removing the scrap metal waste from the road and ensuring all debris as cleaned up."
