Wolverhampton church joins city-wide effort to give away 50,000 copies of Gospel

A Wolverhampton church is inviting people to pick up a free copy of the Gospel of John as part of a city-wide initiative aiming to distribute 50,000 copies across the city.

The campaign, involving churches across Wolverhampton, has been launched to make the Bible more accessible to anyone seeking hope, faith or spiritual encouragement.

Organisers say the giveaway comes in response to growing interest in Christianity and increasing demand for Bibles reported by churches and Christian organisations across the UK in recent years.

People are being invited to visit All Nations Church between June 22 and 28 to collect a free copy of the Gospel of John. A limited number of full Bibles will also be available free of charge while supplies last.

Church representatives describe the Gospel of John as a powerful introduction to the life and message of Jesus and say they would welcome conversations with anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith.

Further information about the initiative can be found at outofdarknesscomeslight.co.uk.
