Plant fair returns to Chasewater Country Park this weekend
‘A free-to-enter event featuring a wide selection of plants from independent nurseries’
Chasewater Country Park will welcome back Plant Hunters’ Fairs this Sunday (July 19) for a free-to-enter event featuring a wide selection of plants from independent nurseries.
Visitors will be able to browse thousands of plants, including bee-friendly perennials, shrubs, alpines, wildflowers, herbs and foliage varieties, alongside garden accessories and decorative items.
Martin Blow, from Plant Hunters’ Fairs, said the event was a chance for gardeners to find inspiration for their outdoor spaces during the summer months.
He said: “It’s certainly been the weather to enjoy our gardens and at this time of year we all need something to brighten our borders and perk up our pots and patios.
“As always, the plant fair will have a brilliant range of plants to shine out in the sun and shimmer in the shade.”
Nursery experts will also be on hand to offer advice and share gardening tips, with visitors able to pick up plants from a range of family-run growers.
The fair takes place from 10am to 3pm on Sunday, July 19. Entry to both the plant fair and country park is free, although normal parking charges apply.
Refreshments will be available and dogs on leads are welcome.
