New dog-friendly café ‘Yappy Hour’ launches at Stourbridge care home
Iverley View Care Home in Stourbridge is delighted to announce the launch of its brand-new dog-friendly community café, ‘Yappy Hour’—a welcoming and relaxed social gathering designed for local residents and their four-legged companions.
Taking place on the second Friday of every month from 11am to 12pm, Yappy Hour offers a friendly space where dog owners and animal lovers can come together, connect, and enjoy quality time in a warm and inclusive environment.

Guests are encouraged to bring along their beloved pups, who will have the opportunity to socialise, make new furry friends, and enjoy a selection of dog-friendly drinks and treats specially prepared for them. Visitors can also relax, chat, and be part of the growing community initiative that promotes wellbeing, companionship, and intergenerational connection.
The initiative is part of Iverley View Care Home’s ongoing commitment to strengthening community ties and enhancing the lives of its residents through meaningful engagement and inclusive events.

“We’re incredibly proud and excited to introduce Yappy Hour,” said Louise Kinsella, Home Service Advisor at Iverley View Care Home. “It’s a wonderful way to bring people together, celebrate the joy that dogs bring to our lives, and create a lively, positive atmosphere for both our residents and the wider community.”
Everyone is welcome, whether you have a dog or simply enjoy being around them.
