Major £900,000 investment to improve Staffordshire leisure facilities
Refurbishment to begin at Codsall Leisure Centre
Work on a major £892,862 refurbishment of Codsall Leisure Centre is due to get under way next month, with improvements planned for the changing rooms, reception and entrance.

The first phase will begin on Monday, September 7, and will focus on the pool changing rooms.
The work will include new flooring, lighting, vanity units, toilets, showers and lockers, as well as redecoration.
Improvements will also be made to the reception and entrance, including a new reception desk, revised layout, flooring and lighting.
The swimming pool is expected to remain open throughout the work, with public swimming sessions, lessons and other swimming activities continuing as normal.
Once the reception and pool changing rooms have been completed, work will move on to the dry-side and squash changing areas, along with corridors and other circulation spaces.
The refurbishment, commissioned by South Staffordshire Council, is expected to be completed by March 2027.
