Indiepalooza brings The Killers, Oasis and Arctic Monkeys tribute acts to Wolverhampton
Indiepalooza arrives at KK’s Steel Mill on Friday
Fans of indie-rock’s biggest anthems are in for a huge night when Indiepalooza arrives at KK’s Steel Mill in Wolverhampton on Friday (July 31).

The touring tribute festival brings the sound and atmosphere of some of Britain’s most celebrated bands together for one packed indoor show. Audiences can expect leading tributes to The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, Sam Fender, Kasabian and Kaiser Chiefs—all appearing on the same night.
Now in its fourth year, Indiepalooza has established itself as one of the country’s most popular tribute events, selling out venues with capacities of more than 1,000 across the UK.
The show promises a wall-to-wall celebration of indie favourites, with a setlist likely to feature songs inspired by defining tracks such as “Mr Brightside,” “I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor,” “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Seventeen Going Under,” “Club Foot” and “I Predict a Riot.”
It is a line-up designed to recreate the energy of a full-scale festival without the unpredictable weather, long walks between stages or need to pack a tent. Instead, audiences can enjoy hit after hit inside one of the Midlands’ best-loved live music venues.
Indiepalooza has already attracted praise from some of the biggest names in British radio.

“This. Is. Great. He is selling out all over the UK!” said Radio X presenter Chris Moyles, while Radio 1’s Greg James added: “This is great. He does sound great, to be fair!”
Music photographer Duncan Cowley was equally enthusiastic, describing the act as: “The best tribute band I’ve ever seen—and I’ve shot hundreds.”
With six major names represented during one evening, Indiepalooza offers fans the opportunity to sing along to several generations of indie-rock classics. From the swagger of Oasis and the dancefloor-filling hooks of The Killers to the modern stadium sound of Sam Fender, the event promises something for indie devotees of all ages.
