Film and karaoke nights coming to St Anne's Church and Community Hub
Chasetown film night returns with canine adventure
St Anne’s Church in Chasetown is bringing back its monthly Film Night this month, with a special introduction from a local group supporting people with visual impairments.
The monthly event returns on Thursday, September 17, with doors opening at 7pm.
Burntwood's Carol Trigg will talk about her group, In-sight, which provides support and friendship for people with visual impairments. She will also introduce her guide dog, Norma.
A true, heart-warming canine adventure will then be screened from 7.30pm.
Refreshments including tea, coffee, soft drinks, cakes and popcorn will be available during the interval.
Entry is free, with donations welcomed to support St Anne's ongoing programme of community activities.
The film title is being kept under wraps, with people asked to contact St Anne's for details by emailing [email protected] or calling 01543 686111.
St Anne's Church is on Church Street, Chasetown, Burntwood, WS7 3QL.
Also taking place at the church in September is a Karaoke Night on Saturday, September 12, from 6pm.
Tickets are £3 for adults and £1 for children, payable on the door. Soft drinks and bar snacks will be provided, and everyone is welcome to come along and choose a song.
