Established in 1926, Bewdley Carnival began as a combined land and river parade, reflecting the town's connection to the River Severn. It has since grown into a beloved annual event. Organisers have planned a day of entertainment, floats, live performances, and activities for all ages.
The Bewdley Carnival Organising Committee stated: “Reaching our 100th year is an incredible achievement that belongs to every person who has ever volunteered, attended, or supported Bewdley Carnival over the decades. This year we want to celebrate not just our past, but the vibrant community spirit that will carry us into the next century.”

In celebration of the centenary, the Carnival Raffle offers prizes, with the 1st prize being a Safari Lodge stay at West Midlands Safari Park. Raffle tickets are available online and can be purchased on Carnival Day at the Carnival Tent. Entries close at 4.45pm on June 27.
