Staffordshire dance studio raises £1,364 for BBC Children in Need
Stone dance studio Rooftop Studios has raised an impressive £1,364 for BBC Children in Need following two weeks of energetic fundraising activities.
Pupils and families at Rooftop Studios threw themselves into the fun with pyjama dance classes, bring-a-friend sessions, raffles, cake stalls, a special visit from Pudsey Bear, and by taking part in The Performers Project annual Tapathon.
Studio Director Laura Keeling said she was delighted with the result: “Children in Need is always a highlight of our year, and we’re incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and generosity shown by our dancers and their families. The atmosphere in the studio has been fantastic — full of kindness, creativity and community spirit. We’re so grateful to everyone who took part and helped us raise such an amazing amount.”
Special thanks were given to Miss Verity, who organised the Tapathon, as well as the studio’s dedicated student helpers — Sophie, Izzy, Libby, Emilie and Jake – and to Will, who helped bring Pudsey Bear along to join the celebrations.
