Midlands coach shares her journey of loss, addiction and recovery to help others
Birmingham-based Grief and Trauma Coach and the founder of “Love Life Coaching,” Lucy Cole, has dedicated to transforming her personal struggles into a beacon of hope for others facing similar challenges.
Lucy’s journey through loss, anxiety and depression has shaped her into the compassionate coach she is today. Having battled addiction and navigated the heart-wrenching loss of both her parents, as well as enduring a challenging divorce, Lucy understands the depths of grief intimately. “I’ve faced the darkest corners of grief myself, and I share my story openly,” she explains. “This transparency allows me to connect deeply with my clients, creating a safe space for them to share their own struggles.”
Her intimate understanding of the emotional complexities surrounding grief and trauma fuels her unwavering commitment to guide both adults and children on their healing journeys. Lucy’s approach is rooted in compassion and insight, equipping her clients with the tools they need to navigate their own paths toward recovery and resilience.
Recognised as a Grief Recovery Specialist, Trainer and Master Practitioner in NLP and Hypnosis, Emotional, Health, NLP & Life Coach, Lucy combines her professional expertise with deep empathy in her practice located in Sutton Coldfield.
Recently honoured as Grief Coach of the Year 2024/25 for Central England by the esteemed Prestige Awards, her mission is to empower individuals to rise above adversity, drawing from her own profound experiences.
To further support her mission, Lucy is set to release her debut book, “How to Heal, Grow & Love Life Again,” this November. The book offers a comprehensive 30-step process designed to foster healing and resilience, reflecting the strategies that have been pivotal in her own recovery. Lucy hopes that this resource will serve as a guiding light for those enduring challenging times, emphasising, “Even in our darkest moments, there is always hope. Healing is not only possible; it is a journey worth taking.”
In celebration of her book's launch, Lucy will host a special event at Sutton Coldfield Town Hall in November, where she will deliver an empowering motivational talk. This event provides a unique opportunity to hear her personal story of grief, healing, and growth while connecting with others seeking hope and guidance.
All proceeds from the event will support local adults and children in need, underscoring Lucy’s commitment to community well-being.
“How to Heal, Grow & Love Life Again” will be available in paperback on Amazon this November.
