Summer fairs bring communities together at Macc Care homes
Residents and guests across Macc Care’s Midlands homes enjoyed lively summer fairs last week, filled with activities and laughter. These annual celebrations united generations, offering a day of fun, connection and community.
At Wyrley Rose in Great Wyrley, Walsall, the home hosted its inaugural fair, featuring live music by Georgina, local stalls and a visit from Donkey Ears. The warm enthusiasm of the Wyrley Roses family made the day unforgettable, setting the stage for future events.
Sutton Rose in Sutton Coldfield enjoyed a fair that buzzed with sunshine and community spirit, offering lively stalls, freshly baked treats and music that brought residents and visitors together.
Over at Meadow Rose in Longbridge, residents savoured delicious burgers, live music and plenty of sunshine.
Whilst at Austin Rose in Birmingham, they saw the home’s largest turnout yet, with families and community members enjoying a fun-filled day. Austin Rose staff expressed their gratitude, they said: “A huge thank you to Mya, Aimee, Jackie, and Harry for organizing such a fantastic event.”
These celebrations reflect Macc Care’s ongoing commitment to providing meaningful experiences for residents, while fostering connections across generations and communities.
