Iconic Coca-Cola Christmas truck brings festive magic to Staffordshire on first leg of 2025 tour
Staffordshire was hit with a touch of Christmas magic as the iconic big red Coca-Cola truck made its way through the county on its 2025 tour.
For the first of 15 stops of the 2025 tour, the world-famous 14-tonne red lorry headed to The Mill House pub in Burton-on-Trent where it stayed from 12pm to 8pm on Thursday (November 27). More destinations are expected to be announced in due course.
The festive truck was decorated with fairy lights, and locals got the chance to enjoy free cans of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Diet Coke or Coca-Cola Classic in a 'winter wonderland' setting.

Hundreds of people, mainly parents with children just out of school and still in their uniforms, were in attendance to enjoy some early Christmas cheer, and celebrate an iconic piece of history in their home town.
"Having the truck here in the town is a bit surreal to be honest with you," said Amy Phillips, a mum of two from Burton. "It's amazing isn't it, it's something you see on TV every year and you grow up with the adverts, and now it's basically turned up on our doorstep.

"It's great for my little ones to have their photo with it and enjoy the little winter wonderland here. It's been really good fun for us all."

Along with free cans of Coca-Cola, visitors were able to enjoy the 'Winter Wonderland' which featured Christmas trees, decorations and fake snow aplenty.
"The set-up is great and it really suits the families that have come here," Sarah Black, mum of three, said. "If I'm honest it takes a lot for me to feel festive until a week or so away from Christmas, but this really has done it.
"It would be hard not to feel the Christmas spirit here, it's the Coca-Cola truck in Burton. How often does that happen?"

Celebrating 15 years since the truck's inaugural journey, this year's tour will stop at 15 sites nationwide. In keeping with the festive spirit, Coca-Cola will maintain its collaboration with FareShare, the nation's foremost food redistribution charity.
Last year, the Coca-Cola truck stopped off in Birmingham on December 20 and parked up outside the Bullring on Rotunda Square - so we are hoping for another glimpse of it this year.
And in 2023, the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour visited the Bullring, as well as Market Square in Wolverhampton.
