Tickets will be on sale on Friday to see the music icon in the Black Country when he lands in the UK in just a few months.

Arguably one of the most famous musicians the world has ever seen, he'll be touring the UK for the first time since 2022, and fans across the region will have the chance to get tickets at the end of the week.

The show was announced on Dylan's website, in what will have been a two year wait to see him since he last visited as part of his Rough and Rowdy Ways tour two years ago.

The two shows will be at Civic Hall, Wolverhampton, on November 9 and 10.

It is a major coup for the Black Country venue and comes as part of a European tour that takes the musician to countries including the Czech Republic, Germany, France and Luxembourg.

The Wolverhampton dates represent the penultimate stage of his tour, with Dylan moving to London for a final three dates at the Royal Albert Hall from November 12-14.

The singer may be 83, but he continues to tour and often concentrates on smaller, more intimate venues.

He has recently been completing dates across America as part of the Outlaw Music Festival Tour, which also features appearances from legendary Black Country singer Robert Plant.

He last week announced the release of a huge 27-CD box set capturing his 1974 arena tour with the Band.

The 1974 Live Recordings will be released on September 20 and features 431 songs – 417 of which are previously unreleased. Dylan has also released a version of 'Forever Young' that he recorded live in Seattle in February 1974 and a coloured vinyl box set of old recordings has also been released.

Ticket prices for the two dates at The Halls in Wolverhampton are yet to be announced, but those looking to snap some up can do so this Friday.
