Allan is reportedly already in Manchester for a medical with both the fee and personal terms already agreed.

He came through the Palmeiras youth teams and made his first team debut in January 2025. He made 61 appearances for the Brazilian club, scoring seven goals.

New City head coach Enzo Maresca is keen to continue his rebuild after replacing Pep Guardiola, with the likes of Rodri, Bernardo Silva, John Stones and Tijjani Reijnders all departing the club this summer.

City signed Elliot Anderson for a club record £116m from Nottingham Forest in June and have agreed a £85.6m deal with Lille for 18-year-old Morocco international midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, while reports on Monday linked them with a move for Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo.
