Sandwell Council have applied for a compulsory purchase order to obtain nearly two hectares of land in Smethwick to build homes near the new Midland Metropolitan Hospital.
Members of an NHS Trust were presented with the ‘Industrialist of the Year’ award following their efforts in providing work experience placements for local schools and colleges.
