Wolves v Newcastle: Who's out and who's a doubt

Wolves return to Premier League action by welcoming Newcastle to Molineux on Sunday.

Rob Edwards has had some injured players back of late and in his press conference, the head coach confirmed he has no fresh concerns and will welcome Emmanuel Agbadou back to the squad after his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations.

The only small blow is Tawanda Chirewa not training this week due to illness.

But how are the two injured players recovering?

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde - 0% chance

Bellegarde last played on December 8, when he picked up a hamstring injury at home to Manchester United.

He is not ready to play yet, but is edging closer to a return.

"JJ is out on the grass doing individual work," Edwards said.

"He's progressing, running around and passing a football, but only individually.

"I don't want to give too many timelines away, but I'm hoping within the next few weeks.

"But I don't want to put unnecessary pressure on him or the staff because it was a significant one.

"It will be really good when he's back because there will be some really fierce competition."

Toti Gomes - 0% chance

The captain picked up a hamstring injury of his own on December 13 and has not played since.

Bellegarde is ahead of Toti in his recovery and the skipper is not yet back on the grass.

"Toti is still inside at the moment and is weeks ago," Edwards added.
