They travel to rock-bottom Southampton this afternoon and welcome West Ham to Molineux after the international break next month.

Then, they face a crucial clash against Ipswich Town, who they sit six points above as it stands, before concluding April with the visit of Leicester City.

Here, we take a look at this season's clashes against the current bottom six.

9 November 2024 - Wolves 2-0 Southampton

Matheus Cunha scored with a stunning effort to propel Wolves to their first victory of the season in a 2-0 success over Southampton in November.

That result lifted Wolves off the bottom of the table and above Southampton, as they moved to within one-point of safety.

4 December 2024 - Everton 4-0 Wolves

Wolves shipped four goals for the second successive game as a humiliating drubbing at the hands of fellow strugglers Everton at Goodison Park piled the pressure on under fire boss Gary O'Neil.

Ashley Young kick-started the rout, curling a free-kick round the wall and into the bottom corner, before Orel Mangala doubled their advantage just past the half-hour mark.

Craig Dawson had a second half to forget, scoring two own goals from a pair of Dwight McNeil deliveries to compound Wolves' misery.

9 December 2024 - West Ham 2-1 Wolves

O'Neil was left fighting for his job after Wolves fell to a third defeat on the spin against former Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui's West Ham at the London Stadium.

Tomas Soucek headed the Hammers into the lead early in the second half and Mohammed Kudus had another effort chalked off by VAR.

Matt Doherty snatched a leveller for Wolves but Jarrod Bowen swept home the winner to leave O'Neil's future hanging by the thinnest of threads.

At full-time, Mario Lemina was involved in an altercation with Bowen, resulting in O'Neil stripping the Wolves midfielder of the captaincy.

14 December 2024 - Wolves 1-2 Ipswich

Wolves suffered a heartbreaking last-minute defeat to newly-promoted Ipswich Town at Molineux in what proved the final straw under O'Neil.

Doherty turned into his own net to provide Ipswich with a first half lead before Cunha dragged his side level after the break.

But Jack Taylor scored a last-gasp header to condemn Wolves to a fourth successive defeat and O'Neil paid the price with his job less than 24 hours later.

Tempers flared between both sides at full-time. Rayan Ait-Nouri was sent off after being involved in a confrontation with the Ipswich staff and players.

Cunha was also subsequently banned for two games and charged by the FA for acting in an "improper manner" after clashing with a member of the Tractor Boys' security team.

22 December 2024 - Leicester City 0-3 Wolves

Pereira enjoyed a dream start in the Wolves dugout with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Goncalo Guedes handed Wolves a 19th-minute lead and Rodrigo Gomes opened his goal scoring account for the club after capitalising on some calamitous defending from the Foxes. Cunha added a third before the break to secure just their third win of the season.

A resurgent Wolves would go on to end the year with a 2-0 win over Manchester United and a 2-2 draw at Tottenham Hotspur to climb out of the relegation zone for the first time since late-November.

8 March 2025 - Wolves 1-1 Everton

Marshall Munetsi scored his first goal for the club five minutes before the break to cancel out Jack Harrison's 33rd-minute opener last weekend.

Wolves moved six points clear of the relegation zone, with each of the bottom three failing to pick up a single point.
