Wolves end of season ratings: Who is the highest rated player in 2024/25?
In a season where Wolves battled relegation under Gary O'Neil before surging up the table under Vitor Pereira, who were their star performers in 2024/25 based on player ratings?

We have looked back on our marks throughout the season and crunched the numbers to give each player an average score.
The Express & Star gave ratings for all 43 of Wolves' games across all competitions and only those players that got marks for at least 25 games were included.
That meant a number of players missed out on the list, including January signing Emmanuel Agbadou, who would have topped the chart with a score of 6.7.
Several other players, including Hwang Hee-chan, Marshall Munetsi, Goncalo Guedes, Pablo Sarabia, Rodrigo Gomes and Tommy Doyle also missed out, but who came out on top from those included?
Andre - 6.5
The Brazilian arrived as a new signing late in the summer transfer window and took some time to get up to speed.
He also was not helped by O'Neil struggling to find a place for him in the team, but as the season progressed Andre began to flourish and many of his performances under Pereira were outstanding.
He came second in the supporters' player of the season vote but comes top of this list after a strong first season in the Premier League.
Joao Gomes - 6.4
The player that did win the supporters' player of the season was J.Gomes and it is no surprise to see him high up this list.
The all-action midfielder has the ability to change a game and was given more licence to get forward under Pereira.
His running, high energy and tackling ability makes him a nightmare to play against and the Brazilian enjoyed a very successful campaign before then signing a new long-term contract.
He will be an essential player for Wolves moving forward.
Matheus Cunha - 6.4
With 17 goals in all competitions and 15 coming in the Premier League, players' player of the season Cunha deserved a top spot on this list and the marks reflected that.
His impressive form throughout the campaign earned him a move to Manchester United after they paid his £62.5million release clause.
However, he would have had a better average mark if it was not for several disciplinary issues that also plagued his season and saw him get two suspensions.

Toti Gomes - 6.3
Toti did very well under Pereira and was a key member of the starting XI, but it is somewhat of a surprise to see him above certain names in this list.
The defender struggled in a back four under O'Neil and got some poor marks, but once Pereira switched to a back five Toti put in some excellent performances that earned him stellar scores.
His marks in the latter stages of the season gave him a much better average score.
Matt Doherty - 6.2
Doherty was the surprise package of the season and his impact was important, but occasionally unfairly overlooked.
He was rarely used by O'Neil but became a key part of the defensive line under Pereira in a new position as part of the back three.
His experience was important to what was a struggling side and he must be credited with an important role in Wolves' campaign.
Yerson Mosquera is coming back from injury, while Wolves will also make signings, but the shirt should be Doherty's at the start of next season.

Jorgen Strand Larsen - 6.1
The striker had a very solid first season in the Premier League and managed an impressive 14 goals.
For his overall contribution, his goalscoring ability and his remarkable form during Wolves' winning run, Larsen deserves to be higher up the list.
But his form in the early stages of the season, when he was still getting to grips with English football, has brought his average down considerably.
Despite that, he was an excellent signing that will only get better.
Nelson Semedo - 6.1
The captain had a solid season and was an important part of the defence.
He brought professionalism and calmness to his role and certainly played his part in keeping Wolves up.
His overall display throughout the season means he probably deserves to be a bit higher up on this list, but his lack of attacking output definitely lost him some marks.
Still, he has achieved a solid average mark for a team that fought relegation for much of the season.

Rayan Ait-Nouri - 6
Another player that deserves to be higher up the list for his overall contribution in 2024/25 is Ait-Nouri.
He managed five goals and seven assists in all competitions for his most productive spell yet and the wing-back got some very strong marks for those performances.
However, he had several dips throughout the season that brought his average mark down, while he still has some shortcomings defensively.
He is a undoubtedly a very talented player, hence why Manchester City invested in him this summer.
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde - 6
Bellegarde had a mixed season.
He started in the team and took a couple of his opportunities before sinking back into the poor form that has plagued most of his Wolves career.
It was not until Pereira took over that Bellegarde found his feet, when he was moved to central midfield.
He jumped between midfield and the number 10 roles and found a certain level of consistency we have not seen from him before, with a handful of stand-out displays.

Jose Sa - 5.8
The goalkeeper is very erratic but also has the shot-stopping ability to pull off some wonderful saves.
That juxtaposition is evident in his average mark, which comes second bottom of this list.
Sa, unfortunately, was at fault for some of Wolves' poor results earlier in the campaign and that inconsistency always crept in.
But on occasion he would be the reason Wolves got a result and that is why Pereira stuck with him over Sam Johnstone.
Santi Bueno - 5.7
For a player that played understudy at centre-back, Bueno remarkably got marks for 27 games last season.
That was due to injuries and suspensions giving him a chance, while Pereira often relied on him from the bench.
Bueno is certainly not a bad player but he does struggle with the Premier League's physicality and that is reflected in his average mark.
He had some good moments, but also some very disappointing games.
