The former captain refused to play at Newcastle last week after asking to leave Wolves this month, before then apologising to Pereira and his team-mates.

Saudi Arabian side Al Shabab asked to take the Gabon international on a free, but Wolves are demanding around £5million.

Despite that apology, the boss is adamant he will not select Lemina until a decision his made on his future.

"It's very easy to explain," Pereira said when asked why Lemina did not travel with the team to Stamford Bridge.

"If a player is with his mind out and in, he has doubt whether he will stay or go, for me it's very easy.

"He's out until the end of the market and when it closes I will see if he's my player.

"It's a problem I will solve because he's a good player who has quality, or he will not be my problem.

"In this moment I want players committed with the team, with the project, with the club, with everything.

"He's training but the mind is not here because he still wants to move, I must be honest and say what's happened.

"This is what has happened. I will wait until the end of the market and after I will see."
