Stone's Will Jenkins roars to maiden Porsche Carrera Cup GB victory
The Stone-born star continues to shown in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB.
Will Jenkins secured his first overall victory in the Porsche Carwow Carrera Cup GB at Snetterton as part of a podium double.

The 21-year-old, who hails from Stone, continued his phenomenal start to the 2026 season by maintaining his 100 per cent podium record in the PRO class.
Jenkins emerged with a first and second-place race results to send him to within six points shy of the Championship lead.
“It’s been an unbelievable weekend. To get my first overall race victory in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB was a special moment,” Jenkins said.
“And to add a second-place finish and a pole position to that, it’s without a doubt my best weekend in the Championship so far.”

The Wera Alliance Academy driver had to dig deep to post a lap strong enough for third overall in the first qualifying session.
But there were no such issues in session two, as Jenkins charged to the top of the timesheets by almost two tenths of a second.
A frustrating start to the opening race saw Jenkins boxed in off the start and he lost a place in the process.
He settled in at the back of a four-car train at the front of the field and kept on the pressure until the mid-distance.
His efforts were soon rewarded when he swept around the outside of both Sid Smith and Jack Sherwood into the Brundle corner.
That propelled him into second position which he went on to hold through the chequered flag.
Jenkins maintained his advantage in race two with a perfect launch off the line, as he led comfortably through the first half of the race.

He responded to a challenge by posting the fastest lap of the race and brushed off pressure from the trailing pack to complete a superb lights-to-flag victory.
“The heatwave made the weekend a real challenge with high temperatures in the car,” Jenkins added.
“But Team Parker Racing did a phenomenal job with the car and it was perfect every session.
“After a bit of a moment in the first qualifying, to bounce back and take pole in the second session was great.
“I really enjoyed the move to grab second in race one and that filled me with the confidence for race two.
“That was arguably the toughest race of my life. Trying to soak up the pressure, manage the tyres and not make any mistakes.
“I’m super proud to have brought it home.”
