"We've made some mistakes" - Rob Edwards on Wolves' long-term plan for improvement under Fosun

When asked how Wolves make long-term changes under owners Fosun, Edwards said the club must collectively acknowledge their mistakes and learn from them ahead of a summer rebuild.

He said: "I'll use the word we - I think probably we've made some mistakes. 

"Every football club can look at certain things, people we've missed out on or weren't able to do. We can always look at certain individuals and it's always maybe easy to pick out an instance.

"But maybe there's been one or two mistakes. We can all hold our hands up and we can learn from things as well. We've just got to make sure that we're not continuing to do that.

"We're always trying to learn and that's whether in my role and that's coaching or whether it's tactical or whatever it might be and obviously, that will be decisions on recruitment and everything as well. So, trying to be as aligned as possible to make sure that we make good decisions going forward.

"What we need to try and do now is make sure that we're all together because yes, it's difficult, but at the same time, I don't feel like we're spiralling or I don't feel like there's a dark cloud there anymore, even though we've lost the last couple of games again.

"I just feel like we've got to continue to work really hard, stick together. There's going to be more difficult moments, but we'll be able to turn this around.

"Let's keep trying to make good decisions."
