West Brom youngster report card: How Ollie Bostock, Harry Whitwell and Hindolo Mustapha performance in FA Cup outings
Eric Ramsay handed starts to two Albion academy graduates and a new January signing who was yet to make a senior appearance in his career.
Harry Whitwell and Ollie Bostock, who have been in the Albion squad in recent weeks were given their chances.
Bostock was the hero of round three - and had a chance to make an impression.
And for January signing Hindolo Mustapha it was a first senior start - having joined on loan from Crystal Palace in the summer.
Here is how the young trio got on:
Harry Whitwell
The midfielder, who has shone on loan at Forest Green Rovers this season - has returned in recent weeks and hasn’t gone on loan.
Having been in the squad in recent weeks, he came in for only his second senior start after an EFL Cup game against Fleetwood last season.
In with Ousmane Diakite, who took a while to settle but when he did he didn’t look out of place.
Calm on the ball, decent in the tackle and assured in possession, Whitwell looked to get Albion playing at every opportunity.
We’ve known for some time that he has the ability and he showed it. Almost netted in the second half but was denied by the goalkeeper.
Has certainly given Ramsay food for thought.
Ollie Bostock
The winger made his impact in the last round so was nailed on to start this.
Albion didn’t use him enough early on but on the occasions they did, he looked dangerous.

He put together a dangerous run in the first half, and in the second got Albion moving from the off with a few darting runs and a deflected shot wide.
He seemed like Albion’s main threat in the second half before coming off later in the game.
Bostock has the hallmarks of Tom Fellows about him. They have different qualities, but they are wingers who want to run at people and make things happen.
It would be very surprising if we didn’t see more from him between now and the end of the season.
Hindolo Mustapha
Almost a dream debut from a player who has not played a senior game at club level.
It was a superb effort that smashed the post - and then he almost squeezed one under the goalkeeper later in the first half.
He showed enough quality in the first half, without setting the world alight, to show that he can do something between now and the end of the season.
He may be on the bench next week - but he certainly has enough to get in amongst the line-up at some stage.
The midfielder could well be challenging Isaac Price in the coming weeks.
