West Brom 2 Coventry 0: Jonny Drury's player ratings
Jonny Drury rates the West Brom players after their 2-0 win over Coventry City.

He played a key role on the night with a couple of really important saves with his feet in the first half. And he followed that up with a key stop in the second half to tip one around the post.
Darnell Furlong 7
He made an error that led to a big Coventry chance in the first half, but recovered and had a solid outing. Good going forward and his partnership with Fellows down the right continues to blossom.
Torbjorn Heggem 7
Got caught a couple of times early in the game as Coventry played a few long balls down the channel, but settled after that and had a steady display that we've come to expect from the summer signing.
Mason Holgate 7
Back in with Bartley rested and was superb. Solid, kept possession well and he gives you that ability to try and go long and switch the play, which he tried on a few occasions.
Callum Styles 7
Another confident display from the new left back. Did well defensively with a bouncing ball in the first half, but got caught twice at the back post and had a let off. But going forward, technically superb.
A superb strike for the goal to get Albion ahead and from then on he was his usual dictator with the ball. As Albion upped the tempo he dictated the pace, and it has hard to remember an occasion where he lost the ball.
Jayson Molumby 8
Immense. Absolutely everywhere, key tackles, key passes, getting forward and just sets the tone and drives the energy for Albion. Is such a vital cog in that midfield alongside Mowatt.
Mikey Johnston 7
Another solid display from Johnston who is getting back to the player the fans fell in love with last season. Driving at players, a sharp first touch and dangerous. Played a hand in the opener and the only negative was he lacked an end product.
Tom Fellows 7
His cross set up the opener and he put some real dangerous crosses in the first half. Dangerous at periods in the second half, and even though it was not a rip roaring display from him, he always offers something for the Baggies.
Karlan Grant 8
Top class once again. The forward is just getting better and better. He was lively throughout, looked so sharp and got his just reward for another top drawer display with a superb goal to seal the victory.
Josh Maja 5
A low mark with Maja on what was arguably his quietest display of the season. It isn't all his doing though, the forward looks burned out having had to lead the line for the majority of the season. Might need a re-think from his manager to allow him a rest.
Substitutes
46 John Swift for Maja 7
Came off the bench and played just off Grant, and he played like a player who has a point to prove. Showed urgency, was dangerous and had chances to shoot.
71 Kyle Bartley for Styles 7
A solid replacement with Albion getting caught on the left side, Bartley helped to see out the game.
71 Jed Wallace for Fellows 6
His best cameo for some time. Looked as dangerous as he has all season.
71 Lewis Dobbin for Johnston 6
Showed great energy and was lively, just lacked a bit of cutting edge.
84 Uros Racic for Molumby N/A
