West Brom picked up their 14th Championship draw of the season against Stoke in front of their new boss Tony Mowbray - here are the player ratings.

Alex Palmer

Very little he could do about Nathan Lowe's opener as the former Walsall man latched onto a miscued shot. Aside from that, there was nothing for the Albion keeper to do.

Quiet: 6

Darnell Furlong

He will be disappointed with how easily he was beaten for the Stoke opener. He was up against Lewis Koumas, who is a tricky winger, and was the Potters' biggest threat all afternoon.

Mixed: 6

Mason Holgate

The defender started as the right-sided centre-back and had a few difficult moments in the game. It was a tough afternoon for Holgate.

Struggled: 6

Torbjorn Heggem

The Norwegian has been a revelation since he arrived at The Hawthorns in the summer. It was another assured performance from the defender in this clash.

Assured: 7

Callum Styles

Operating at left-back, Styles used the ball well and helped Albion get on the front more and more as the game wore on. He occasionally gets caught out from a defensive perspective, but he more than makes up for that with his composure in possession.

Good: 7

Jayson Molumby

It was a mixed afternoon for Molumby. He did so well in the midfield battle, but he had two brilliant chances, one before the break and one after, which he failed to score. He will be disappointed with that.

Off-target: 6

Grady Diangana

He scored the Albion equaliser with a superb finish beyond Viktor Johansson - it was a special piece of skill. He showed some brilliant moments in the game but had the odd lapse in concentration too.

Vital: 7

Karlan Grant

The importance of the Baggies forward will be even more significant now Josh Maja is injured. He had good moments but all too often Albion's attacks broke down in the final third when they needed to show more composure.

OK: 6

Mikey Johnston

He is direct and he ran at the Stoke full-back Junior Tchamadeu all afternoon giving him a difficult game. He provided the assist for Diangana's equaliser with a near-post cross.

Bright: 7

Alex Mowatt

He keeps Albion ticking over in midfield, and he did OK in this one. He is comfortable on the ball but did lash a volley over in the second half when you would have thought someone of his quality would have hit the target.

Steady: 6

Tom Fellows

Has so often been the creator for Albion this season, but this was not the youngster's best afternoon. He was up against the experienced Enda Stevens, who sent him inside and into traffic.

Off: 6

Substitutes:

Jed Wallace (Diangana 77) 6

Came on in place of Grady Diangana but was unable to make an impact.

Devante Cole (Fellows 90) n/a

Not used: Wildsmith, Swift, Taylor, Diakite, Racic, Frabotta, Whitwell.
