Video - Schalke score goal of the game in 6-1 defeat to Real Madrid
When you're losing 6-0 to Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo is playing, you don't expect Schalke's consolation to be pick of the goals.
Doubles for Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Ronaldo sent the Bernabeu outfit into a six goal lead in their Champions League last 16 tie against Bundesliga side Schalke.
But it is Klaas Jan Huntelaar's goal for Schalke that impressed us the most.
The Holland international scored argubly the goal of the game when he struck a consolation for the German side.
The ball is played in from the striker's left and as the ball comes across his body, Huntelaar strikes the ball on the volley with just enough curve to take it into the take corner of the Madrid goal, clipping the underside of the bar.
