The 18-year-old has netted three goals in six starts for the Yeltz - including a brace in their 6-1 demolition of Grimsby Borough in the FA Cup last week.

Prior to re-joining Halesowen on another stay, Wragg scored twice for Walsall in pre-season, and also made his second senior appearance from the bench at Shrewsbury earlier this month.

"We had to really think about that one before he went out there," boss Sadler said.

"The manager at Halesowen is a really good bloke, but he'd not gotten much game time when he was there the season previously.

"But Russ had made it clear that Charlie was coming in to be one of the main guys and he has stuck to that word.

"Delighted for him to get a couple of goals last week and it's up to him to keep progressing with that."

Wragg spent the second half of last season at The Grove, after previously running out for Bromsgrove Sporting and Alvechurch.

The teenager scored twice in 17 appearances in all competitions, but found himself playing second fiddle to leading marksman Kieren Donnelly, who finished the campaign with 28 goals.

Donnelly has since joined Boston United, which has presented Wragg with a prime chance to make his mark.

"The ideal scenario for a loan player is that they play every single minute of every single game and they flourish and fly," Sadler added.

"That very rarely happens. There's ups and downs to it, there are moments in the team and moments out of the team.

"It's the same with Charlie at Halesowen and me with other guys here.

"You just need make sure that you keep up that dialogue and communication, and do those extras to keep them going during that period they're out of the team.

"It's really important that we do that because we need to be the destination for the best young players out there that we can possibly get."
