Striker poised to leave Wolves after deal agreed
The forward is poised to leave after four years at the club.
Striker Sasa Kalajdzic is poised to leave Wolves and join LASK on a permanent deal.
The Austria international will return to the club where he spent last season on loan, ending a four-year stay at Molineux.
Kalajdzic, who has suffered two serious knee injuries while with Wolves, will depart on a free transfer after making just 16 total appearances, scoring two goals.
A 50 per cent sell-on clause has been included in the deal. The popular 29-year-old said his goodbyes to team-mates and staff after watching Wolves beat Stoke 4-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Kalajdzic joined from Eintracht Frankfurt for £15.4million in August 2022 but suffered his first serious injury on debut, missing nearly a year of action.
Despite returning to fitness in time for the start of the 2023-24 season, he struggled for regular game time and returned on loan to Eintracht, where he again suffered serious injury.
Kalajdzic scored six goals on loan for LASK last season, helping them win the Austrian title.
He was then called-up to the national team and played in three matches at this summer’s World Cup.
Kalajdzic had been part of a group training away from the first-team while looking to secure a move this summer.
