Steve Bull: Wolves must fight for the fans and personal pride in final eight games

Wolves have eight games left this season and there is plenty still worth playing for.

The players have to go out there and play as though it's the last game they're going to play for Wolves, because the fans have done absolutely brilliantly this year and we need to give them something.

Wolves have person pride left to play for this season as well, but the fans come first.

In the away games coming up, Wolves will sell every single one of their tickets and the fans are travelling to see 100 per cent graft. If they give that and still lose 1-0, the fans will still clap them off the pitch.

Brentford are up next on Monday night and Keith Andrews has done a fantastic job there. I just hope a former player doesn't come back to bite his old club!

But Wolves have looked more like a team in the last few games, we don't look like 11 strangers, and that's all down to Edwards' work with the side.

If you've got no skill, as long as you've got hard work, you'll get something out of the game.

After the Brentford game Wolves will have 25 days before the next match and that is absolutely ludicrous.

At Christmas you have a hectic schedule, but then this break in March and early April, who is doing these fixtures? It's silly.

If I was playing, I'd be desperate to get all three points at Brentford and earn a few days off.

But this is going to be a tough game because they are solid defensively and they've got a really good goalscorer as well, so we've got to keep them quiet and create some chances of our own.

Looking back at Wolves' FA Cup exit, I expected Liverpool to improve on the previous meeting.

A team like Liverpool will want to get revenge after we beat them in the Premier League and they were definitely up for the FA Cup game.

I think we missed Andre in midfield, he ran the show in the first game alongside Joao Gomes, but in the second game we were light in midfield.

Liverpool took advantage of that and deservedly won the game.

We were failing in the final third, which we've done for most of the season and that's one of the things that Rob Edwards has got to stamp out next year.

We must create more chances and score more goals. Very often we get to the 18-yard box and we come back again, where we could be attacking them and getting the balls in the box.

Edwards is still on a learning curve and he'll know what he wants to do with this team next year.
