Steve Bull: Mario Lemina situation a shame but time for Wolves to move on

The Mario Lemina situation is a real shame considering how well he has done for the club.

To be honest, it is just silly from his point of view. If you want to leave a club, you should roll up your sleeves, go out there and perform so that other clubs notice you.

They get paid lots of money and every player should be out there playing, not refusing to travel with the team to a Premier League game.

If that's what he wants to do, let him, and find him somewhere else to play. He's downed tools and he shouldn't do that.

Any player needs to fight for a place in the squad so it's very naughty of him to refuse to play.

It's time to say farewell and in the meantime, let him play with the kids. I wish he persevered with Wolves because he's a very good footballer.

Vitor Pereira now needs to focus on the players that are committed - the last thing he needs is a bad apple in the dressing room.

It's time to move him on and let the rest of the squad give their best for Pereira and the club.

On the pitch, I thought we dominated the FA Cup game against Bristol City and deserved to get through to the next round.

If we'd taken that form into the Newcastle fixture, we'd have given them a good game.

They are a good team, but we gifted them two goals again. Our defending is so poor it's unbelievable.

The sooner we can bring in another signing at the back, the better.

Emmanuel Agbadou did well on his top flight debut, but one man will not fix the defence, we still need to strengthen there and get a couple more players in before the transfer window closes.

Wolves now face Chelsea on Monday and it will be a very difficult game.

They are a team still in transition but they have plenty of quality and it's never easy to go to Stamford Bridge.

The games are coming thick and fast and every single one will be difficult, as we fight for points to stay in the league.
