The 20-year-old has since spent time in hospital since and has made a gradual recovery.

He was back on two wheels for a practice spin after Birmingham’s league fixture with Buxton at Perry Barr last night.

Should he come through with no ill-effects, he will line-up for Championship side Glasgow at Ipswich tonight with the view of returning to the Parrys International Wolves’ side for the home clash with reigning Champions Swindon at Monmore Green on Monday (August 20, 7.30).

Wolverhampton’s management team expressed their thanks to neighbours Birmingham for allowing Greaves the opportunity to get some laps in on his road to recovery.
