Sheffield United 1 West Brom 1: Player ratings
We rate the players after Albion earn a 1-1 draw at Sheffield United.
MAX O’LEARY
Produced a huge save to deny Tyrese Campbell a few minutes before Albion’s Campbell slammed in the leveller. Strong handling.
Save: 7
DANNY IMRAY
A first start since a nightmare afternoon at Portsmouth. Contributed to a strong defensive performance and willing to get forward.
Busy: 7
GEORGE CAMPBELL
The unlucky own goal looked likely to sour a strong all-round performance. Then he produced a stunner to earn Albion a point.
Strike: 8
KRYSTIAN BIELIK
Looked like he might come off after just three minutes but battled through the pain to the break. Always seemed in the right place.
Positioning: 7
CALLUM STYLES
Will have been a bit frustrated with his passing at times. Another who worked hard to keep the Blades at bay.
Effort: 6
ISAAC PRICE
Had the best chance of the game before the opener, when he went through on goal. Another missed opportunity to add to the list.
Denied: 6
JAYSON MOLUMBY
Set the tone with some tough tackling in the early stages as Albion won the ball back in the middle of the park. Plenty of energy.
Dogged: 6
OUSMANE DIAKITE
Infuriated Morrison with a shot from distance which ended up in the second tier of the stand but this was a decent performance.
Battling: 7
OLLIE BOSTOCK
Demonstrated Albion would be up for the fight in the first minute when he harried the Blades right-back. Couldn’t stop Hamer’s cross.
Lively: 6
DARYL DIKE
Set Price scampering free in the opening seconds of the second half. Looked rusty at other times but made a nuisance of himself.
Nuisance: 5
AUNE HEGGEBO
A similar story to Dike in that what he lacked in finesse and quality, he made up for in effort. Made sure the defenders had something to think about.
Harrying: 6
SUBSTITUTES
Charlie Taylor 6 (for Bielik, HT), Jed Wallace 6 (for Bostock, 69), Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba (for Dike, 78) Alex Mowatt (for Molumby 90+1), Josh Maja (for Heggebo 90+1) Subs not used: Gilchrist, Mustapha, Whitwell, Griffiths (gk).
