New racing series to start at Dunstall

A new all-weather racing championship series boosted by a £2m prize-money injection will start at Wolverhampton on Saturday.

The series, devised by the owners of the track, Arena Racing Company, will have its finale at Lingfield next year when racing is staged for the first time on Good Friday.

Dunstall Park will host two new races worth £19,000 and another valued at £14,000 and the card has attracted a host of entries from top trainers.

From Saturday on every race at Dunstall will accumulate points with three runs needed to qualify for the finals.
