Mat Sadler not putting "too much pressure" on Walsall defender Priestley Farquharson
Mat Sadler says he won't be putting "too much pressure" on Priestley Farquharson after the Walsall defender continues to impress on his injury comeback.
Farquharson collected an assist during the Saddlers' 3-1 win over Bromley on Saturday, after scoring on his first league start in over 15 months in a 2-0 triumph at Harrogate Town the previous weekend.
The 28-year-old gave the ball away in the build-up to Ben Krauhaus' opener for Bromley, but made amends with an excellent second half display.
And Sadler insists the current priority is to keep the towering centre-back fit in the wake of his injury troubles.
'Giving himself the best possible chance'

"I'm not putting too much on Priestley because I know how much he is putting on himself, but we all know what a great player he is," boss Sadler said.
"We just want to keep him fit, healthy and strong. That's the main thing right now.
"He said to me after he came off against Harrogate, thanks for keeping me on for the corners, because we were going to take him off just before that.
"The presence that he has in both boxes is immense, so we wanted to keep him on for as long as we could.
"He has had his fair share of bad luck. It's part of the game unfortunately, but he is giving himself the best chance of being as fit as he can, for as long as he can."
Farquharson, who missed the majority of last season with a thigh injury, produced an outstanding header back across goal for Ryan Finnigan to complete the turnaround on Saturday.
That powered Walsall back to the League Two summit after back-to-back wins, although attentions now turn to the EFL Trophy ahead of their trip to Stevenage this evening.
