"I've got some difficult decisions" - Wolves boss set for selection dilemma

Rob Edwards admits he has 'some difficult decisions' on his team selection up front as Wolves prepare to take on Newcastle.

The Magpies come to Molineux on Sunday hoping to spoil Wolves' four-match unbeaten run and recent momentum.

Tolu Arokodare and Hwang Hee-chan have started the last four Premier League games as a front two, but dropped Jorgen Strand Larsen responded with an FA Cup hat-trick against Shrewsbury Town last time out.

Arokodare also scored off the bench in that game and Edwards says he will have a tough time deciding who leads the line.

He said: "There is a real competition in those positions. Channy's doing great and Tolu's been playing well as well.

"Tolu got his goal when he came on, so it's good.

"I've got some difficult decisions and obviously as a head coach, that's what we want."

Larsen's goals at Molineux came after the striker went through a poor spell of form that drew criticism from some fans, as some sarcastically cheered at his substitutions.

But the Norwegian was back in the good books in front of happy supporters as he put in a strong performance and Edwards has praised the striker's attitude in finding his form.

"I suppose that's a nice one, I haven't thought of it like that," Edwards said when asked about Larsen scoring at Molineux being even more important.

"It's nice the last couple of weeks to get a couple of wins here, some goals.

"I think that's a really good point. The travelling support have been amazing and actually the performances have been good away from home as well.

"But maybe where we've had a bit of a sticky patch here at home, it's the noise and people then point at maybe some of the bigger player.

"So it's good for him that they've come here, a really good crowd here, it's fantastic.

"He's getting a standing ovation, that's how quickly things can turn.

"The contribution that he made when he came on the other night at Everton, he helped us get a point and then played a massive role today in a very good win for us.

"He's going the right way about it."

Larsen continues to attract interest from other clubs this month but the head coach remains unmoved by that and believes Larsen is focused.

Edwards said: "At the moment, there's nothing to talk about because there's nothing, it's just speculation around a number of our players.

"But we're under no pressure or anything to sell anybody at all.

"He's shown his commitment to the football club."
