Opportunity knocks again for Dave King and his men
Dave King has urged his Tividale charges to make the most of their second chance and clinch the West Midlands League Premier Division title, writes Nick Elwell.
Tivi looked to have handed the initiative to rivals Haughmond two weeks ago when they drew with Dudley Sports.

But the Shropshire side failed to cash in last weekend as they shared the spoils with Pershore when a win would have lifted them to the top of the standings with three games to play.
As a result Tivi go into tomorrow’s home game with Wem Town a point clear at the top.
“It’s been a case of me to you, and you to me in the last few weeks,” joked King.
“I still think it will go down to the wire but we have been given another chance, it’s in our own hands again and we have to take advantage of that. It’s as simple as that.”
King is expecting a tough test tomorrow against a Wem side boosted by an impressive win at Bewdley last weekend and fighting for survival.
“Both sides have three games left to play and there are some tricky games,” said King. “Anything can happen at this time of the season.
“The teams at the bottom are fighting for their lives and they suddenly start picking up the odd good result.
We have the tougher game tomorrow because Wem are fighting to stay up. They had a good win against Bewdley last weekend.
“How you play doesn’t matter at this stage, it’s all about the result. I don’t expect Haughmond to slip up tomorrow so we really have to focus on ourselves and do whatever is necessary to get the win.”
Dudley Sports are anxiously looking over their shoulder as the battle for survival hots up. They are four points clear of the bottom two but have played two games more than Wem.
And they face a tough test tomorrow against a Wednesfield side with designs on a top three finish.
The top flight’s match of the day sees third-placed Wolverhampton Casuals entertain Malvern, who are fourth.
Elsewhere, Black Country Rangers host Bridgnorth and Bilston Town travel to Pershore.
Smethwick Rangers are away to Shawbury while Cradley travel to Wellington.
