Wolves strikers are handed a warning
Wolves were left in no doubt where their failings were by the boss after last night's 1-0 cup calamity.
Wolves hit the woodwork three times last night through Matt Doherty, Leigh Griffiths and Zeli Ismail only for the Shrimps to win it through Ryan Williams' superb free-kick. "It was an outstanding strike which won the game and we just couldn't finish off our chances," said Kenny Jackett, who was forced into six changes to his team. "As a unit we need to put our chances away and it was a disappointing result.

"We defended quite well and hit the woodwork three times but probably could have done more in terms of being ruthless in front of goal and being creative from the wide areas.
"There was some encouragement and a lot of heart out there but things need to settle down in terms of the rhythm of the team, because we made a promising start on Saturday against Preston."
"When you look beneath the surface I'm desperate to settle the side down and get it into some kind of rhythm."
Jackett insists that Wolves will be on a roll once they start winning games.
"There's a lot of promise and when we start to win we will continue to do that," he said.
Kevin Doyle came on for the last 33 minutes in place of Jake Cassidy and showed his class, although he was unable to change the game.
Jackett admitted the Ireland international is in his plans until he is sold.
"The probability with Kevin is he will not be playing in League One this season," he said.
"I will never close the door on Kevin and I didn't do that last night.
"You can see that by his performance when he came on – it was his first 35 minutes of the season and he did very well.
"The probability is he won't be with us but if he's match fit and he's here playing like that, there's no problem with him."
Jackett handed a debut to 20-year-old centre-back Ethan Ebanks-Landell and was impressed by the latest academy graduate to make the step up.
"Ethan and Jamie Reckord came in on the left hand side of our defence and handled it well and the keeper looked strong," he added.
